The EZ Guide Online

An online application for Developing Goal-based Water Conservation Plans.

The University of Florida & Conserve Florida EZ Guide Online (EZG Online) is a tool being developed to help users perform the water conservation calculations from the existing Guide. In addition to being inclusive of the original Guides methodologies and calculations, the EZG Online has additional calculations that enhance the Guides ability to function as a water conservation calculator. One such enhancement is the inclusion of a background replacement rate for BMP implementation.

The EZG Online is a water savings calculator designed to offer decision support information to utilities. The element of simplicity that the EZG Online offers does not pertain to the complexity of its calculations but rather to the number of inputs, the way inputs are made and the types of inputs. Users enter aggregate data in order to perform analyses. All inputs are user defined and there are no requirements for explanation of inputs. Additionally, input information not used in calculations is condensed and displayed in tabular formats.

The EZ Guide Online is hosted by the Conserve Florida Clearinghouse, managed by the University of Florida under contract with the sponsoring organizations.
